My Practice
Journal Entry #02
Pamme Callie’s Manifesto
I create for inner freedom,
to grow gently into myself.
To see the world again,
with wonder.
To gift myself true experiences,
and let them become gifts for others.
To make peace with eternity—
with what stays,
and what passes.
To stay open to infinite possibilities,
to what is yet to come.
Above all,
to feel alive
making art.
I have learned that not everything needs to be understood to be felt.
When the world insists on clarity, speed, and certainty,
I choose softness, pauses, and fragments.
My work does not ask to be decoded,
but to leave a trace of who I am,
for those willing to meet it slowly.
A corner studio where thoughts slowly take form.
Fabric and thread follows after drawings.
My emotions do not feel rectangular, so I allow the form to follow them.
Sewing prepares a space where feelings can be held.
Painting releases; stitching repairs.
In a world that feels fragile and fast,
may these creations become a meeting place —
for you to be present, to hope,
and to find strength in softness.
